At Liberty Senior Living, we were deeply honored to recognize three remarkable WWII veterans—Tech Sgt. Harold Elton Bly, Lt. William Rippy, and Tech Sgt. Theodore ‘Ted’ Pyck—during a special tribute at The Commons at Brightmore of Wilmington marking the 80th anniversary of the end of the war. Surrounded by loved ones, residents, and community members, their incredible stories of courage and service were shared with heartfelt admiration. Thank you to Activities Director Tanya Langley, local historian Rona Simmons, and Luke Basso for helping ensure these legacies continue to inspire generations. We are privileged to call these heroes part of our Liberty family.

Chef Hassan Aberach from Brightmore of South Charlotte led his team to victory with an unforgettable menu: Bourbon-glazed short ribs, Alaskan halibut, and a chocolate pecan & banana foster tart. 🍽️✨
