Inspirational Wednesday Story

I know it’s been a while since I’ve written a story. I’ve just been so busy with life—the kids sports, helping my oldest apply to colleges, and work—that I’ve hardly had time to breathe these past few months. But I had to share this amazing experience from a couple weeks ago. I was at a mediumship event, along with several other mediums, giving readings for the public. While there, another medium approached me and handed me a business card. She mentioned that she recently attended an event in Massachusetts where there was a woman who reminded her so much of me that she felt compelled to connect us.

She told me I could do whatever I wanted with the information, but this other person wasn't just a medium—she was also a dietitian. It piqued my interest because I know very few dietitians who are also mediums—it’s not a common combination. I decided to look this woman up online, and I was stunned by the similarities on her website. While she didn’t look exactly like me, there was definitely a resemblance. We even had similar pictures on our websites!

I soon discovered that she studied under the same medium teacher, Julie Jancius, as I had to get started with my own work. I reached out to her via text, suggesting she check out my website and asking if she wanted to connect. Later that night, we ended up talking for an hour on the phone, and the similarities were incredible.

Both of us are dietitians and diabetes educators. We both took our first jobs at the hospital system Bayhealth in Dover, Delaware, though she was originally from Texas. Interestingly, she left the hospital in 2001, and I started that same year—I was literally her replacement! She has two boys, and I have three. It just keeps going on and on.

I’m very grateful for this connection, and I’m still unsure why we crossed paths, but it’s clear there’s a reason behind it. It’s possible she could be my twin flame, as it feels like we’re living parallel lives hundreds of miles apart. Spirit never ceases to amaze me!

Wednesday Story:
Life is short. So dance the dance, drink the beer, fall in love, take the chance. And when the spirit sends you a sign-grab it and run.
Just 2½ weeks ago, I hopped in the car and heard on the radio that there was going to be a tribute concert for my favorite childhood country singer. In that moment, I knew I had to go. No hesitation. No second-guessing.
God bless my three best friends who jumped on board without question. We booked flights to Nashville and made it happen. The music, the memories, the magic-it was everything.
Carpe diem. Because sometimes, the best moments in life are the ones you don't plan-they're the ones you feel.
