We are here at day 2 of the here in Wilmington! You guys went nuts last night so we are recovering with some incredible coffee from the (try these variegated chaipanese! Oh my goooooddd). 🌟Today is a day to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, those that have given their lives in service and those that lost the battle when they came home.
Here at Dark Star, we may grill out and hang with friends, but we will never use this day to capitalize on sales. Please know that we dont think less of any small business that does this, but it is just not something I can bring myself to do.

I've lost too many brothers and sisters. I've lost family and friends.... and heard so many horror stories. There are so many gold stars floating around, especially for those who lost the fight at home. 22 a day is a number we should not know by heart.

For anyone struggling today or any other day, our DMs are always open. Please dial 988 immediately if you are in need of support or are in a crisis. You are seen, heard, loved, and needed. The world is a better place with you in it.

One of my absolute favourite things about the vendor/market community here is how we love and support each other. Shelbi from .alchemy is an incredibly talented artist, but is also one of the brightest stars and souls you'll ever meet. She could take a mournful room and turn it into a party, all with no expectations.
I'm so honored to have a second piece of hers, this one an original oil painting, in our home.
I'm not a gold or flower girl by any means, but this piece wouldn't stop staring at me at the Crafts & Crystals Faire. So at the end of the day...it was mine. 💙

Thank you Shelbi for being a glittering little bubble and brightening all of our days. Sending lots of love!
