Chances are good you’ve now heard about the cybersecurity threat currently affecting large segments of our nation’s healthcare system. What you may not know is how this is affecting the pharmacy sector.

Many of our processes for accessing and billing insurance directly depend on these affected companies called “switch vendors”. We pride ourselves on our ability to successfully bill insurance for our compounds — allowing us to provide customized care at an affordable cost for our patients. Because of the events from last week we are experiencing some delays in our prescription fulfillment process, however, rest assured our team is working as quickly as possible to provide the same level of care you have come to expect from MCSP.

We know a good thing when we’ve got it, and let us tell you about that amazing lady down front and center. Today we celebrate her 29th(!!!!) work anniversary with us! Few people can claim that kind of tenure in the workforce, much less at the same place — MCSP is who we are today due in large part to Renee’s continued drive and passion for compounding and our patients.

Many of you know her by name, have experienced the healing results of her work in our compounding lab, and our staff seeks her wisdom that can only come from her many years of experience caring for our patients.

Happiest of work anniversaries, Renee! We love and celebrate you today, friend!
