A big thank you to Sonosite - especially Melinda Conrad and Jamie Hadaway- along with Dr. Yeager and Dr. Dowd for dedicating their time and expertise to teaching medical students and ECEP APP's. We had an incredible two-day ultrasound workshop at the Novant Simulation Center, filled with hands-on learning and skill development. We truly appreciate the collaboration and dedication to advancing clinical education and supporting the growth of these learners!

These collaborative drills are vital to strengthening our clinical readiness and improving outcomes for the patients we serve.

This week, we’re proud to celebrate Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and the vital role they play in delivering exceptional patient care. At ECEP, our Emergency Medicine Physicians collaborate daily with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, collectively known as Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Their advanced training, clinical expertise, and compassionate approach enable them to diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications, and bridge critical gaps in access to care. By combining medical knowledge with a deep commitment to their patients, APPs strengthen the quality and responsiveness of healthcare in every community they serve.

We had a terrific few days in Pensacola, Florida, at Emergency Care Partners' 2025 Medical Leadership Meeting!

The meeting was packed with educational presentations and thoughtful discussions on how to continue maintaining clinical excellence while keeping medicine local.

Kudos to our own, Dr. Reavill, for an excellent presentation on DAX Copilot.
