From a blank page to the big screen in Hollywood … ✨

I’m beyond ecstatic, grateful, jumping up and down of joy, to announce that our film, is selected to be premiered at the HOLLYWOOD ARAB FILM FESTIVAL, in the short movie category.

As a writer, this journey has been many things at once: deeply personal, creatively exciting,  quietly transformative, and full of trust.

To see a story that once lived only in imagination find its way into the world is something I’m still wrapping my head around. To see the characters that we created and named in that empty cafe is Maadi, become VERY MUCH ALIVE...it's beyond my wildest dreams.

For my friend, cowriter, and director , i cannot thank you enough for being the dynamo and inspiration of this process.

To everyone in team who made this happen, thank you.

I’m super grateful to share a meaningful milestone in my professional journey.

I’ve officially completed my certification in Eating Disorders, and clinical training in an area of work that is very close to my heart.

Eating disorders are never about food or weight. They are often about pain that had no words, control when life felt unsafe, shame carried silently, and bodies that learned to survive under impossible standards.

This 12 months training offered a deep understanding and real interventions.
My work in this area integrates evidence-based approaches such as CBT-E, DBT, ACT, IFS, trauma-focused care, and nervous system regulation. Let's rebuild a safer relationship with the body.

I get asked alot how i ended up enjoying a fulfilling career as a clinical psychologist after years of corporate banking.

Being an athlete means knowing your body like a close friend. Knowing when it’s tired, when it’s strong, when it needs rest, and when it’s ready to soar.

Back to work after Eid Vacation might be challenging. For me, I miss work, actually, what i miss is my clients. Meeting people in such a deep level of awareness and human vulnerability is a priceless experience.
