🍂 Mother Nature is slowing down. Almost all the leaves have finished shedding. Wildlife has found their burrows for the winter… she’s preparing for the resting phase that is Winter.

🛍️ Us though? It’s go time. It’s hustle and bustle. Each of us seeing how speedily we can get through the days that get through the weeks that get to Christmas.

❄️ We dissociate completely past the Winter Solstice, a day to be honored by going inward.

😅 And we push through when we weren’t really designed to.

No shade, no shame, no judgment. I do it too. It’s sorta fun. It’s exciting!

🪟 But then I look out my window and remember what my body is craving. Stillness and peace. Just like the trees in my front yard.
