Let me start by saying that Canola oil is a 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐘 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐋𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 vegetable oil that is slowly wrecking our health 🥹

🚨Canola, aka rapseed oil is highly refined and one of the 𝐁𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐒𝐓 “Health deceiving” 𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐒 spread. So let’s call it by what it its an 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐙𝐄𝐃 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐈𝐋 period. Or JUNK 🤪

👉🏻 Man made oils, aka vegetable oils are nothing more than 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐘 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃, 𝐍𝐔𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐎𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐃, 𝐎𝐗𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐃 & 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐋𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 oils that are making us sick & overweight.

👉🏻These are 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 of cardiovascular disease, inflammation, autoimmune disease, premature aging, hormonal disruption, obesity, compromised the omega 3-6 ratio and more..

👉🏻Let me clarify this, don’t let the 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮. By the moment canola oil is consumed ( even in its organic form) there is NOTHING LEFT or beneficial from its original & unrefined seed/ plant form. Plus most of the seeds/ plants used are GMO.

-These undergo very aggressive stripping steps such as degumming all of which involve high temperatures and chemicals.
-Aggressive stripping processes that bleaches the seeds
-These are also 𝐃𝐄𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐈𝐙𝐄𝐃 because of the rancid and foul-smelling due to the extreme exposure to high temperatures.

✨𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐄 𝐒𝐎 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃?

👎🏻These are highly processed to make them 𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐅 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 to last longer in grocery shelves. Yup, that largely benefits food companies in detriment of our health folks.

Yup, we are eating 👎🏻 𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐃 FOODS that dont smell as such because of the deoridization processes that masks the rancid smell!! Yuk !

👉🏻Even their 𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐂 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 It just means that the seeds/plants used were originally organic BUT these still go trough the same harsh stripping processes..

😖Now, AVOIDING CANOLA OIL is not as simple as just not buying these oils bottled alone friends..gets a bit more tricky.

😅I know you have repeatedly seen it in most processed GF products, right?!

Well…also in sauces, dairy free milk, yogurts..and soo many other places!
But let’s focus in GF TODAY!

🤮 BIG FOOD has figured out how to ride the MULTIMILLION JUNK GF TREND and is creating products left and right – some good, most of them bad adding this emulsifier…

DID YOU KNOW…?

✋🏻Xanthan gum is used by the petroleum industry to drill for oil and as emulsifier

✋🏻 It’s binded to GMO corn, soy or wheat ( unless specified) big time ALLERGENS & FOOD INFLAMMATORY FOODS..

Pretty nasty….

✋🏻It became a very popular because is a very cheap emulsifier to produce that serves as a thickening agent.
Basically “helps” GF products be more chewy..

HERE ARE MY CONCERNS…

❌ Xanthan gum is notorious for causing intestinal discomfort like bloating, gas, and even diarrhea when ingested….
Everytime my family tries a keto or junk gf treat with this additive our stomachs feels horribly bloated for days!!

❌ If you suffer from soy, wheat, dairy, or corn allergies / intolerances or simply want to stir away from inflammatory foods I recommend you avoid items containing xanthan gum entirely.

❌ Known for altering the gut microbiome. NO THANKS!

❌ If you are concerned about food additives and processed foods I recommend using nutrient-rich, real foods instead of JUNK GF processed foods.

❌ Is so heavily used in many products that unfortunately is very easy to consume it at larger amounts than we think we are.

🔥 WHY USE THIS POOR FOOD ADDITIVE IF IT CAN BE REPLACED WITH HIGH NUTRITIOUS FIBERS?

✅ I have spent years experimenting with fibers for my GF MIXES to avoid cheap guams like XANTHAN, GUAR AND CARRAGEENAN and I have found answers.

✅ While the healthier options are more expensive, when the HEALTH of people is at play. We don’t play games.

✅ Flax, Chia and Phyllium Husk are wonderful nutritious packed alternatives.

If you ask me…BEST SUMMER FOOD OUT THERE?

Gazpacho 🍅 🥒 🫑

Refreshing, nourishing, delish, easy…
Like drinking a salad in a glass
Combined it with a toast of our GF MULTISEED BREAD MIX splashed in olive oil and seal salt…

😛Nothing better!!

Here is my recipe ( and more gazpacho variations coming 😘)

🫑 INGREDIENTS:

6 medium size tomatoes
1 1/2 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
1 cucumber peeled
1/4 c to 1/3 c onion ( start by adding 1/4c)
3 garlic cloves ( less if u are not a garlic fan)
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp+ 1/8 tsp paprika
1 tsp+ 1/4 tsp salt
3 T to 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar ( start with 3 T and see how you like it)
1/4 cup olive oil

🫑 DIRECTIONS 2 WAYS:

1-Wash all produce well, add all ingredients in blender and serve

2-chop all, all liquid ingredients, massage well and let sit overnight in fridge
Serve extremely cold!!
( pinch cilantro or parsley)

🔥 Keys for a killer gazpacho:

1- Use organic products when possible. The veggies are consumed raw & blended
2-Wash them very well
3-Use a powerful blender for silky consistency
4-Use extra virgin cold press olive oil
5-Serve very very cold
