The way we breathe directly impacts heart rate, muscle tension, stress response, and the body’s ability to shift between states of activation and rest. When breath becomes shallow or unconscious, the body often stays in a low-grade stress pattern. When breath becomes intentional, the body begins to regulate.

This restorative yoga and Reiki workshop is designed to explore the science behind breathwork and how it can be used as a tool for healing.

We’ll begin with a brief discussion on how breath affects the nervous system, including how different breathing patterns can either stimulate or calm the body. You’ll learn simple, practical techniques that can be applied both on and off the mat. From there, we’ll move into a deeply supported restorative yoga practice, where various breathwork techniques will be layered throughout. Each posture becomes an opportunity to experience how breath can soften muscle tension, quiet the mind, and guide the body into a state of ease.

Throughout the practice, Reiki energy healing will be offered to further support relaxation, energetic balance, and a deeper sense of internal calm.

This past weekend I had the honor of studying and learning from so many beautiful souls:



I am so grateful for sharing space with such incredible humans, receiving understanding that can only be found through experiencing Wuo Tai first hand. I wandered in to the this training thinking I was simply expanding my knowledge and adding to what I can offer clients.

Wrong

I left this training with a new way of seeing the body, fascia, nervous system regulation, and healing.

Today was pure magic!

I’ve practiced many times in this room at
but today I was teaching in it.

I had almost a full room.
Many faces I knew, more that were new to me.
But I felt incredibly supported by this community❤️

As I get close to entering my 4th year of teaching yoga, I still experience moments of insecurity, self-criticism, and dare I say fear. A new container takes time to connect to and vibe with. New community ties build slowly with consistency. Growth. Roots. Love.

I can’t wait to continue sharing this space with such lovely humans. Thanks y’all!

Do you ever look at yourself and say
“Goddamn”

The month of August was a test.
Many times I looked at myself and asked
“Why am I not enough?”
“Where did my confidence go?”
“Who is this human who feels so low?”

Luckily September is bringing in fresh energy shifts. Days like today I look in the mirror and found my “goddam I’m back.” I found my “f**k what they think.” I found my confidence buried beneath the heart ache, the tears, and the lessons.

I am back.
