My name is Kelsey Metz and I am the founder of Serenity Wellness Services PLLC. I have been a social worker for five years and a clinical therapist for three years. I attended the State University of New York at Buffalo where I received a master's degree in Social Work. After receiving my degree, I moved to North Carolina to start working towards my career as a clinical social worker. Before begin

ning my own private practice, I worked at various mental health agencies supporting individuals of all types with various needs. During that time, I gained a lot of experience and knowledge and realized my passion towards working in the mental health field. I made it a goal of my own to start my own private practice to continue supporting people during their toughest times. I am trained and certified in multiple therapy modalities, including: CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. I believe that therapy looks different for each individual, so I tailor my approach to each client and their specific needs. I work with adolescents, young adults and adults of all genders and demographics. I help individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, OCD, body image issues, personality disorders, mood disorders and difficult life transitions. As a Clinical Addictions Specialist, I also support individuals dealing with addictive tendencies or family members living with a loved one who is struggling with addiction. Mental health does not discriminate against any age, race, gender or ethnicity, so neither should treatment. I pride myself in ensuring my clients have an inviting and judgement free space to work through their thoughts. I encourage you to come as you are, and together we can work towards a better you.
