Dr King works magic! I've been going to him for a little over a year now. I'm an American Sign Language Interpreter and before going to him, my wrists hurt so often from Carpal Tunnel that I thought that was how they were supposed to feel. Now my wrists rarely hurt and if they do I know it's time to go see Dr King again! He is hands down the best at what he does and I am so glad a friend recommended him to me. Dr. King is an amazing Chiropractor with exceptional service. He is the only one of his kind that will adjust my feet and my hands along with my regular adjustment.
He has helped alleviate neck, shoulder and arm pain from a recent accident, which was my main concern for going to him.
In addition, I no longer have hand and wrist pain due to moderate carpal tunnel and I can now wear three-inch heels which has not been an option after breaking my ankle in 2016.
Each visit accommodates to my current issue/pain/need. It is never a “cook cutter” adjustment.

As a runner and triathlete, after dealing with back/hip pain for numerous years(2022 was my most painful and unbearable year to date) and giving chiropractic a try a handful of times over the years, I am so glad I took a friends advice and started seeing Dr. King. He took the time to diagnose the true cause of my discomfort and came up with a plan to fix and strengthen. It's been about two months and I am beyond happy. Rhett helped me after many others could not!! A sever neck injury sent me from one doctor to the next, and after several months of no relief in the pain I was experiencing, I was faced with surgery. I did not want to fuse 90% of my neck but could no longer handle the levels of pain I was suffering through!!

I met Rhett and after a short conversation, I decided to see if he could help me. The phrase “it must hurt if it’s to heal” rang true, but with each session I felt better and better!! He applied several techniques and methods to release the pinched nerves in my neck, and after just a few months I felt almost completely normal again!! I kept going back for a total of 6 months, which gave the time for me to learn maintenance and care to avoid further problems.

Years later, I still feel great, and only rarely do I have have pain. With the right stretches and posture techniques I can quickly get back to a normal state!!

Rhett knows his stuff, and he helped me when no others could!!

Bigboy the true review. Im not saying this lightly! Amazing chiropractor! I'm a bluecollar tall big man and I've had trouble for years finding someone able to handle my stature odd saying that lol. But yes I will be a returning patient at kings! 2 things I was told I needed surgery on he has loosened up and gave me better quality of life and strength back in my arms and back. Did you know that your hands and feet can be adjusted, which can help with common conditions such as carpal tunnel or plantar fasciitis?

My patients like to poke fun when they catch me eating at the office…which happens a lot because I’m always eating. Well, this is why. Today I hit another milestone on bench with 350lbs for 5x5. This came after a brutal squat session. Remember, we don’t get stronger by lifting heavy weights, we get stronger by RECOVERING from lifting heavy weights. Diet and rest is key.

As a Wilmington native and UNCW graduate, I feel a special sense of purpose in working to improve the spinal health of Wilmington’s people. I was first introduced to chiropractic due to sports injuries as a teenager. There were years, in fact, where I was battling with pain and disability on a regular basis, which was so frustrating. I could have taken other roads to get relief from pain, but it was Chiropractic that helped me improve my spinal health, which ultimately gave me my life back.

I knew I wanted to become a doctor, but I decided that chiropractic had the personal feel and ability to connect with patients that other professions lack. I got my chiropractic degree from Life University in 2007 and decided to start my practice in my hometown because I feel so connected to this great city. King Chiropractic opened in 2009 with the simple goal of making regular chiropractic care affordable and practical for my patient’s busy lifestyles. I am driven to empower my patients to regain their quality of life through regular chiropractic care.

Through monthly memberships options, care is convenient and affordable. In essence, you receive the same quality care that I provide my own family. My hope is that I can show you a better way to be healthy. I view quality chiropractic care is a BIG part of a healthy lifestyle and I am proud to help my patients live their lives well adjusted!
