disAbility Resource Center (dRC) is excited to announce upcoming peer support groups coming to Brunswick, Onslow, Pender, Columbus, and New Hanover Counties! These groups are designed to support individuals with disabilities (ages 14–30) in building independent living skills.

But before we launch, we need your feedback to help us determine interest, logistics, and preferred locations. Please take a moment to complete our short survey:

A huge thank you to International Paper! 👏

They are one of the largest funders of our work in Columbus County! Their contribution of $6,500 continues to power the Columbus Baptist Association's Backpack Buddy Program, which provided 40,000 weekend meals to 641 food-insecure children across 18 schools last year. 🎒

Without this support, many local children would go hungry when school meals aren't available. But the need is growing. Right now, kids in Columbus are only receiving weekend meals every two weeks due to limited funding.️ We're calling on more businesses and individuals to join International Paper in making a difference. 🤝💙
