In the last two weeks Dr. Figueiredo had the opportunity to be the first physician "on the scene" in two unfortunate auto versus person accidents 😞... first one in Philadelphia and yesterday in Greenville, DE. Always good to remind all: unless you are trained to do so avoid touching or moving the victim and call 911 immediately. If anything cover the individual to decrease heat loss and apply pressure with some kind of cloth if major blood loss is visible, until trained personnel arrives.
