Welcome to Hanover Pediatrics. Local Wilmingtonian and father of five, Dr. Hoke Po***ck, MD provides Berry Brazelton, M.D.
About Hanover Pedicatrics:
Hanover Pediatrics was founded in 2017 by Dr. Hoke Po***ck, MD. Having practiced in small and large group practices for several years, Dr. Po***ck feels that the ideal way of connecting with children and families is to provide individualized, but evidence-based, comprehensive care (in other words, we take expert knowledge about all children and make it applicable to you
r child). This means taking the time not only to make a diagnosis but to recognize how that diagnosis impacts a child’s overall health. The staff of Hanover Pediatrics is dedicated to making every aspect of your encounters with us, be it in person, on the phone, or via social media, an inviting and responsive experience.
About Dr. Hoke Po***ck:
Dr. Hoke Po***ck was born in Durham, NC and moved to the Wilmington area at age 5. Graduating from New Hanover High School, he went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a Morehead Scholarship, where he stayed to complete medical school and specialty training in pediatrics. Following his training, he returned to his home in the Wilmington area, practicing primary care pediatrics since 2005. Dr. Po***ck relies on the Touchpoints methodology for approaching office encounters, utilizing interviewing and diagnostic/management techniques pioneered by T. He remains on the teaching faculty as an advisor to the local program in New Hanover County, which serves to model and teach myriad groups how to partner with families and communities to foster and strengthen child development. He also is president of the advisory board for the Interdisciplinary Neonatal Follow-up and Treatment Services (INFANTS) Program, a 501c3 non-profit entity dedicated to the support of neonatal research and the promotion of educational opportunities for pediatricians and specialists in the area, bringing world-renowned speakers and investigational opportunities to the Port City.
The father of 5 children, Dr. Po***ck, when not working hard in the office, can often be found at any one of his children’s extracurricular activities! He enjoys running, reading, cooking, and composing on piano and guitar.
