✨ MEET OUR TEAM ✨
Meet Mark Dominick! Mark joined Physical Therapy Services of Wilmington in July 2023 after spending almost a decade chasing college athletes around fields, courts, and dugouts. Most recently, he kept UNCW Baseball in top shape from 2017 to 2023—though he admits the secret to their success probably had more to do with their swings than his stretches or his famous Gatorade mix.
A proud Mainer (yes, that’s what they’re called), Mark earned his bachelor’s degree in sports medicine and athletic training from Quinnipiac University, where he mastered the art of taping ankles and surviving New England winters. He then headed south to Eastern Kentucky University, earning a master’s degree in sports management while serving as the athletic trainer for EKU Baseball. Between games, practices, and an endless supply of ice packs, Mark honed his skills and developed a deep appreciation for Kentucky barbecue (and maybe bourbon).
Mark’s career has taken him from high school sidelines to working with Olympic-level competitors, with some incredible stops along the way. He’s worked with USA Baseball’s Collegiate National Team, covered the MLB Draft Combine, and served at the USA baseball U18 National Team training camp. Despite all this, he still loses to his wife in pickleball.
Certified in Intramuscular Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction therapy, and the M1 Graston Technique, Mark is also trained in PRI techniques (but don’t worry, he’ll explain all that in plain English if you ask).
When he’s not working, Mark can be found at the beach, traveling, or spending time with his wife Sarah, their two dogs, four cats, and a never-ending pile of fur. He’s also been known to dabble in sports fandom—but only when he’s off the clock!
