Veterans, their families & community members with food insecurities were able to receive food donations at the Wilmington VA Sussex County Clinic on Aug 29 sponsored by the Wilmington VA homeless program and Delaware Food Bank. We appreciate all the support from our volunteers.

Here at the Wilmington VA, we appreciate your feedback. We are aware callers have been experiencing longer than normal wait times when trying to contact our Care in the Community (CITC) office. Our community care office has had an increase in call volumes recently, resulting in longer than normal wait times. We are actively working to resolve this issue through offering alternative solutions to contact our community care office and to increase staffing in the near future.

There are now three methods you can contact our community care office:

U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran Ronald E. Whitehead was dropped off by an unknown individual at the Wilmington VA Medical Center emergency department back in 2022.

Veterans, family & community members thank you for attending the Wilmington VA Cumberland County NJ Veteran Town Hall on Aug 14. Wilmington VA leadership discussed VA updates in the local area. Many vets were able to file a claim and enroll in VA health care and pharmacogenomics, receive info on su***de prevention, homeless, whole health and women's health.
