Sports Massage is a deep tissue treatment that is clearly focused on areas commonly stressed on injured during physical activity. Benefits of Sports Massage:

Swedish Massage:
Swedish Massage uses gentle, soothing movement to promote relaxation and well-being. Benefits of Swedish Massage:

-Improves muscle tone
-Alleviates tired, aching muscles
-Reduces swelling
-Stretches connective tissue
-Eliminates toxins
-Reduces fatigue
-Enhances sleep quality
-Increases circulation
-Stress relief

Deep Tissue:
Deep pressure is applied slowly in order to release chronic muscle tension and reduce adhesions ("knots") in the soft tissue. Benefits of Deep Tissue Massage:
-Breaks down adhesions and restores normal movement
-Reduces chronic pain
-Breaks up scar tissue
-Reduces muscle spasms
-Removes toxins from muscles
-Increases flexibility and range of motion

Self psoas release to ease low back pain πŸ™ƒ
Take a small semi-squishy ball and place right above your ASIS (or front hip bone), sink in and roll slightly so ball moves toward center abdomen. When you find a spicy spot, sink further and breathe. Continue this pattern moving upwards on the R right and downwards on the L to follow the flow of your digestive system. Voila back pain release!

Things that helped with my decades of digestive issues:

- making water the first thing I have in the morning, and continuing to sip with coffee
- less coffee. This was a decision my body made for me as I kept finishing less and less, but as a result I have less bloating
- taking a digestive enzyme first thing in the morning
- cooking my vegetables. Raw veggies are harder to digest and can cause discomfort and distension.
- pelvic floor exercises; as simple as tilting and tucking the pelvis once a day.
- daily movement. From a short walk or yoga, to running and weightlifting, it doesn’t have to be much but it all helps. Especially a short easy walk after a meal.
-stomach vacuum. This is where you blow out all the air in your lungs and suck your belly in as if you’re inhaling without the breath.
-Stomach massage; follow the intensities and work clockwise to aid digestion

- you can indulge in foods you may not normally eat and not feel guilty
- you can wake up bloated and happy Friday morning and still take a rest day
