New look. New name.

Novant Health is opening two new COVID-19 testing locations in New Hanover and Brunswick Counties. The New Hanover location is open TODAY through 6PM:

We 💜 being able to support families in Brunswick County. Over the summer Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center hosted a free community baby shower and donated 14,000 diapers, more than 10 car seats, 10 strollers and three dozen gift baskets.

Together, through these community partnerships, we strive to improve the overall health of individuals by identifying and treating specific community needs.

In recent months, Novant Health has provided New Hanover Regional Medical Center with ventilators to help us care for our surge of patients with COVID-19 and secured thousands of respirators to protect our staff and providers. Having the support of Novant Health's supply chain operations has been a valuable resource, especially in a time of global shortages.

Thanks to our partnership with Novant Health we've been able to synchronize and improve stroke care we offer to our patients. We have been able to implement Viz.ai, a software platform that uses artificial intelligence to reduce delays that can stand between patients and lifesaving treatments.

Every minute a stroke is left untreated can mean the difference between permanent disability and a full recovery.

In Case You Missed It: We are proud our partnership with Novant Health has helped us ensure equitable access to mammograms. In the fall we hosted a Women's Health and Wellness event to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Novant Health’s mobile mammography bus was on-site at the event to offer access to breast health services.

UPDATE: NHRMC ExpressCare announces modified weekend hours in response to ice storm

NHRMC ExpressCare - Autumn Hall
Saturday: Open for walk-ins and virtual visits (including lab and radiology services) starting at 10 a.m. We will stop seeing walk-ins at 3:30 p.m.
Sunday: Open for walk-ins and virtual visits starting at 10 a.m.

NHRMC ExpressCare - Brunswick Forest
Saturday: Closed to walk-ins - virtual visits only
Sunday: Open for walk-ins and virtual visits starting at 10 a.m.

NHRMC ExpressCare - Rocky Point
Location closed to walk-ins Saturday and Sunday - virtual visits only

Novant Health and New Hanover Regional Medical Center are prepared for the storm with ample supplies on hand and safety precautions being put in place. All our Coastal region emergency departments will remain open.

At this time, we are planning to delay opening of our outpatient services, including lab and radiology locations, with Saturday hours, to 10 a.m. on Saturday.

NHRMC ExpressCare locations and Novant Health Oceanside Family Medicine & Convenient Care - Brunswick are planning to delay opening Saturday to 10 a.m. for virtual appointments only, and later in the day to walk-ins pending facility conditions.
