Our team wishes you and your loved ones a safe and happy July 4th. We hope that you enjoy this long weekend full of celebrations with friends and family, food and fireworks. Though our Primary Care offices will be closed on Friday, July 4th, our ExpressCare locations will be open 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Join us at our Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinic at the East Wilmington location for a fun COMMUNITY DAY! The event will take place on Wednesday, June 18 from 4-6 PM at 416 N. 30th Street Wilmington, NC 28405.

Bring your family, your friends, and your neighbors to enjoy a bite to eat and some music while you meet our team members and tour the clinic.

🩺Our Mobile Cruiser will also be on site for health screenings! 🩺

Team members will be on-site to answer questions about the clinic and provide health screenings.

Please join us in recognizing Shelby, an RN at our Michael Jordan Family Medicine - Greenfield Clinic. She is our most recent 🌼 Daisy Award 🌼 winner! Her nominator shared: “She has taken it upon herself to launch the "Reach Out and Read" program at this MJ Clinic, with plans to expand to our second Wilmington MJ Clinic upon it's opening. The "Reach Out and Read" program fosters positive bonding between pediatric patients and their families, (as well as between the pediatric patients and their providers) by providing a book and early development guidelines at each Well Child Visit from birth to 5 years old. Shelby has taken it upon herself to apply for this program for her clinic(s) to increase childhood literacy, promote positive relationships between family members/caregivers, and help expose children to healthy habits from an early age. She has also spent her own time obtaining books from her local library to stock the waiting areas so that the pediatric patients have age-appropriate and fun material to enjoy. We are so proud of Shelby for making an impact on her patients, their families, and the community.

☀️🎉Today we had the honor and privilege of celebrating Vanessa, a phlebotomist at our Novant Health Primary Care – Autumn Hall location, and our most recent Sunshine Award winner! As one patient shares, “she listened to me kindly when asking about an additional lab test not ordered. She took the time to check with the physician and obtained the additional order that was inadvertently omitted. She was not only superior in her phlebotomy skills; her friendly demeanor and customer service skills are outstanding and an asset to the Novant organization.”

Thank you, Vanessa, for taking the time to meet not only this patient’s needs, but so many others each and every day. You recognize just how important one test can be, not just for a patient’s health, but also for their peace of mind. ☀️🎉
