Meredith here with your yearly reminder to just say no to new year-new you, crash diets, fitness fads and all the hub bub that comes up this time of year.

Do you know what the average holiday weight gain is? 1-2 pounds. And every year at this time the fitness industry preys upon our insecurities and tells us in order to be happy we need to fit into our skinny jeans. And most New Years resolutions don’t last to the end of the month. And we often end up feeling like a failure because we couldn’t live up to unrealistic expectations.

How about loving ❤️yourself just the way you are? Loose skin, soft bellies and all. Instead of torturing yourself with a starvation diet or working out hard for a hard body, be good to yourself, move daily, practice yoga, do Pilates, resolve to learn a self care practice, eat intuitively and meditate. 🧘🏻‍♀️✨
