Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists, P.A., is a group of 26 physicians, 44 total providers practicing in New Castle County, Delaware. We are a multi-specialty group with fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeons, who have expertise in total joint replacement, fractures, foot and ankle, hand, wrist & elbow, shoulder, spine, sports medicine, trauma and plastics. Our physicians have regularly been named Delaware Top Doctors, and DOS was recently voted as a '2022 First State Favorite' for Northern & Southern Delaware -- Favorite Orthopaedic Clinic & Favorite Foot Care Clinic! DOS is the only sub-specialized Orthopaedic practice in the state where the provider only practices in their trained specialty area!

Yesterday, students in Mrs. Krape’s Honors Anatomy class had a special guest: Dr. Michael Principe, an orthopedic trauma surgeon and proud parent of Kayla '26.

Dr. Principe shared insights from his medical training and experience in treating complex injuries, providing students with a fascinating glimpse into the world of orthopedic and trauma surgery.

We’re grateful to Dr. Principe for taking the time to inspire our future healthcare leaders and for helping bring anatomy to life in the classroom!
