Rekindle Family Medicine

Rekindle Family Medicine is a Direct Primary Care practice dedicated to authentic, relational medical care for the whole family.

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a direct relationship between patient and provider where the physician works directly for the patient. For a fixed monthly fee patients have open access to the physician, with no co-pays, no deductibles and no additional fees! Without the burden of insurance plans, physicians have more time for each patient and can address additional problems at one unhurried visit. Flexible, open schedules reduce unnecessary ER visits - patients can be seen in our office when they are actually sick! When medically appropriate, some care can be managed over the phone or via secure messaging, without an office visit. Patients will have access to deeply discounted labs, imaging and medications. Our pricing (click here) is transparent which means that patients will no longer be surprised by high primary care medical bills. This model of care saves the patient time and money and allows patients to be in charge of their healthcare again.

Free rapid COVID test kit pick up tomorrow at 10am! I would consider getting there early as this is going to be popular.

New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer has announced a plan to distribute 6,000 antigen COVID-19 self-test kits to New Castle County residents. Kits will be distributed on Saturday, January 8th beginning at 10 a.m. at the New Castle County Government Center. One box (two tests) of iHealth’s rapid antigen test will be given per car, along with a sheet of instructions.

Members of the distribution team will be at the locations from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., or while supplies last.

The New Castle County Government Center is located at 87 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720. Signs and members of the New Castle County Police Department will direct traffic for those arriving to pick up a test kit.

New Castle County will work to organize future distribution events as test kits become available.
