Wilmington Maternal-Fetal Medicine provides specialized care for women with high-risk pregnancies. With over 25 years combined maternal-fetal medicine experience, a team of high-risk sonographers, board certified nurse practitioners, genetic counselors, and diabetic educators, we bring high quality maternal-fetal care to Southeastern North Carolina, including Wilmington and Jacksonville. Our practice is the only practice in the region accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine in both obstetrics/gynecology and fetal echocardiogram.

Most women self refer or are referred to our practice from their obstetrician because they are experiencing complications in their pregnancy. Our maternal-fetal medicine specialists work with OB/GYNs to provide detailed ultrasound, consultation and co-manage complicated pregnancies. We offer a wide range of services including early prenatal care, targeted ultrasound, fetal echocardiogram, prenatal diagnosis and screening, including chorionic villus sampling (CVS), amniocentesis and percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS), genetic counseling, diabetes education and management and preconception consultation. Our multi-disciplinary team is well prepared to care for all high-risk pregnancy needs.
