Marsha Lynch is celebrating 10 years with Liberty Hospice!

Marsha is a dedicated LPN with a passion for compassionate end-of-life care. After years of serving patients as a hospice field nurse, she recently transitioned to an office-based role in quality assurance for Liberty Hospice of Roanoke Rapids. Known for her teamwork and commitment, she still steps in to support her field colleagues whenever they need an extra hand, blending her clinical expertise with her commitment to service.

📷 THROWBACK THURSDAY: Celebrating 150 Years of Caring for Others 🎉

This 1929 article from The News Reporter captures the excitement surrounding the delivery of a one-of-a-kind green marble soda fountain to McNeill’s Drug Store! 🍨

According to the article:
“A giant truck, so large that it was unable to cross the ferry at Wilmington Tuesday night arrived from Philadelphia bearing a new soda fountain to be installed at McNeill’s Drug Store. The fountain, which is absolutely the only one of its kind in Eastern North Carolina, according to Mr. McNeill, will be in operation at an early date.”

That stunning green marble soda fountain—later replaced by a more modern version—helped transform McNeill’s Drug Store into more than a place to fill prescriptions. It became a local gathering spot where first dates began, neighbors caught up over cherry cokes, and sweet memories were served daily.
