I provide both individual and family counseling for adolescents and adults. I take a collaborative approach with my clients in addressing a variety of concerns including life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress management, parenting concerns, ADHD, behavior problems, blended families, self-esteem, and trauma - just to name a few! I especially love working
with new mothers and parents of children with special needs. I welcome family and spouse participation in the therapeutic process and I strive to provide a compassionate and supportive environment for working through life's challenges. Over the years I have found that an authentic and caring relationship with my clients is the best foundation for positive growth and healing. I offer an eclectic, humanistic, and client-centered approach to counseling, with an emphasis on self care, coping skills and creating space to fully explore the challenges that are weighing you down. Having a background in working with at-risk kids and adults in psychiatric inpatient programs, I am no stranger to crisis. But I also know that anyone can benefit from counseling, not just those in crisis. In my work as an outpatient therapist I can tell you that some of the most significant changes can happen when things are relatively stable. I'm ready to support you either way and I can't wait to connect with you!
