Rest is Divine. Now, let’s add Deities.
Honoring Rest and allowing the body ample time to reset is crucial for healing the nervous system and creating homeostasis. By disengaging from the world around you and allowing yourself time and space for mindful rest and rejuvenation, you can be guided to experience the layers of your own Self in a liberating, healing, divine way.
Speaking of divine, this Divine Rest series is all about tapping into the strength and wisdom of Divine Deities.
Deities serve as symbolic manifestations of universal qualities and energies, and we can call upon deities as a reflection of our own experience. Each deity embodies a unique narrative, with characteristics that represent specific aspects of both human consciousness and the divine itself, helping us connect with our inner strength, compassion, wisdom, and creativity.
Engaging with deities in a spiritual practice is not necessarily worship in the traditional sense but rather an invocation of these energies within ourselves.
With mindful movement and nurturing breath work, we can foster a deeper connection to universal truths, promote balance, and experience personal transformation.
By understanding the deities’ stories, we can reflect on their own challenges and use these qualities as source of inspiration, guidance and strength.
This event aims to use yin yoga, Thai massage technique, and the divine qualities of deities to ease muscle tension and joint pain, release stagnant or stuck energy, increase positive emotions, induce solid sleep, increase strength, support your circulatory and respiratory systems, and deepen your own inner-knowing and inner-seeing.
Take this time to honor yourself in divine stillness and profound rest.
Diving deep through divine rest quiets the mind and opens the heart in order to reach the world of knowledge, vitality, clarity, and love that lies within.
