Always Best Care of Delaware, Milton Agency Director Donna "Gemma" Fox and her husband, Jay, attended the Autism Delaware Snowflake Soiree on December 5th at the Rehoboth Convention Center. The food was provided by 20 local vendors and restaurants- which made for a great way to experience new foods without having to go for a full meal... as they all provided smaller, serving size portions. The atmosphere was thoroughly enjoyed and supporting Autism Delaware was a wonderful experience.

102.9 WMGK Turkey Drop, presented by ACME Markets, took place on November 25th at 12 different locations across the Delaware Valley. The purpose of the Turkey Drop is to benefit the efforts of CityTeam Chester/Philadelphia Area to help homeless or struggling families with food insecurities. The event was centered outside the Kimmel Center, with live radio interviews throughout the day. Always Best Care Team Greene presented a check for $3,000. This annual event is the largest single day of giving in Philadelphia. In just four hours, 4,187 turkeys were collected from all of the locations.

The mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation program is to provide joy to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas through the gifting of donated toys. Multiple boxes provided by Toys for Tots were filled to the brim at Team Greene's three PA offices (and Wilmington, DE!) with new, unwrapped toys. All of the boxes were picked up from the Langhorne office on December 11th by Jackie Garber from Wbcb 1490am Radio. Pictured is Always Best Care Community Outreach Coordinators Craig Grossman and Eliza El, Always Best Care Senior Payroll Manager Jennifer Smith, Jackie Garber. Team Greene collected over 300 toys and books for deserving boys and girls.📚🏀🎁🧸

Today is Houseplant Appreciation Day! Did you know indoor gardening is a great opportunitiy for older adults to improve mobility, reduce stress, and enjoy a sense of accomplishment. Seniors can share plants with each other discuss the different variations available. A fun activity for seniors! 🪴

Our Spotlight Employee of the Month is Ruth Minus. Ruth has been a member of Team Greene since May and has quickly become very popular among our clients. Our clients ask for her by name, and anytime she does a fill in they always want to keep her permanently. Ruth has been a great addition to the team these past several months and never misses an opportunity to step in when needed.
