We are back for round 2 and both of us couldn't be more excited!!!
We have spent time intentionally crafting a curriculum to maximize the mental health benefits of movement. Taking into consideration the feedback from round 1, it is important to stress the heavy mental health component over the idea of an exercise class. You will get meditation, group processing, education around your nervous system, coping skills, etc. in addition to specific gym exercises with individualized focus on form and safety that you can take with you to feel more confident in the gym.
More directly stated: This series is designed for those who want to add a new somatic tool to their mental health toolbox, explore their relationship with movement in a mindful way, process specific mental health concerns, traumas, or discomfort around the gym or just try weight lifting for the first time in a trauma-informed, supportive setting.
