Runners — if you’re putting all your miles into one pair of shoes, you’re leaving your body vulnerable.

Different shoes load your tissues in different ways, and that variation is exactly what keeps runners healthy. Rotate 2–3 pairs and you immediately reduce repetitive stress on the same joints and tendons. 🦵🏾🦶🏾👟

🤓 The research is clear: shoe rotation = lower injury risk and better long-term durability.

Here’s a few exercises I gave to a patient with severe bunions last week. The programming has to be very specific to how each individual’s feet are working. If I was to give this person some of my go-to exercises for their feet, it could exacerbate the problem.

We went through many exercises to see which ones he could repeatedly do with the desired result. I also add some “up the chain” stuff that he needs to work on.
