It’s important to know these three things whether you’re seeing a new provider or revisiting another treatment.
✅ Request before and after photos of the procedure that’s been suggested to you. You should be able to look at multiple before and after this will help you feel more confident that they can achieve your results.
✅ I think number two is most important. So many treatments can be initiated that may be suboptimal and not the best treatment for your initial concern. Example– if you have moderate wrinkles, textural changes and pigmentation. My grand needling may be suggested and yes, it could improve these but your best option could be a resurfacing laser. This is just an example for for instance, deep lip lines aren’t really going to respond to micro needling and respond better to a resurfacing, laser like Helix CO2 or UltraClear.
you just wanna make sure that you are going to choose the best option for the money paid to get the best result.
✅The third is very important. Most people can purchase the same laser never learn how to use it till it’s full potential to get you to the results that you may need. Again, this is why number one is important. It’s also important to understand that this patient does this treatment they can treat the common complications.
I hope this helps you choose the best provider and know what questions to ask to be sure you’re getting the proper treatment and follow up that’s needed.
At United medical aesthetics if we don’t have the best treatment, we’re gonna refer you. I saw two people today that I think that would benefit from a procedure I don’t have and they were referred to a surgeon. We are not gonna do a treatment that gives a low level result. The only time we would implement is if the consult was not a surgical answer and they were referred back to us.
