Eldercare At Home is happy to announce our Employee Spotlight goes to our awesome CNA, Shawntia Harding.

Shawntia, who goes by Tia, has been a caregiver ever since the age of six, when she helped take care of an elderly lady who lived across the street. Her favorite part of the job is ensuring clients are safe,not neglected, and can stay comfortably in their own home. Tia manages a huge blended family of ten children, owns an Insurance/Income Tax Firm on the side, and loves praying and communicating with God in her spare time. It is still Christmas at her house! The tree is still up and she is always busy shopping for presents.

Although she has a side business, she considers nursing as her preferred career because being a caregiver "keeps me humble." She says Eldercare is the best CNA job she has ever had and “Mrs Herring built something great here”

Tia advises new team members to "Allow this company to work for you and it will. Don’t give up. Keep pushing forward.”

Join us in welcoming Anita Jelcic-Butler to the Eldercare at Home team!
She is highly knowledgeable, skillfully adept, and exceptionally compassionate.🩷

Anita Jelcic-Butler received her master's degree in social work from Louisiana State University and has built a distinguished 24-year career dedicated to serving patients. She began her career as a medical social worker in hospital settings throughout Arizona, California, and North Carolina, supporting patients with complex care needs and care transitions.

She later served as a home health liaison for Assistedcare Home Health, building strong community partnerships and connecting clients to essential services with compassion and efficiency. Anita expanded her expertise by joining NC Mobile Wound Care as the Manager of Business Development collaborating with healthcare partners to improve access to specialized wound care services.

Passionate about supporting the aging community, Anita is proud to serve as a trusted resource for patients, families, and care providers. She is excited to join Eldercare as a Home Care Liaison and looks forward to making a positive impact. Her warm personality, dedication, and extensive experience make her a valued advocate for the community she serves.

Outside of work, Anita enjoys cooking, traveling, watching college football, and spending time with her family. She is proud of her Croatian heritage, which has instilled in her a strong appreciation for family, tradition, and community.
