Dr. Adayna, whose commitment and compassion have been a steady force on this journey.

In this video, she shares how the medical mission didn’t just give it gave back, by reigniting her spark and reminding her of the deeper purpose behind her calling.

Thank you, Dr. Adayna, for your words, your presence, and the heart you bring to this mission and we look forward to your presence again, at the SRMM in May 2026.

At Sunu Reew, we value partnerships and collaborations aimed at improving healthcare systems and bridging the gaps that limit access to quality care.

We believe that sustainable progress in healthcare cannot be achieved in isolation.

By working together with institutions, professionals, and communities, we can strengthen systems, expand opportunities, and ensure that quality healthcare becomes accessible to more people.

Through meaningful collaboration, we are not only addressing present challenges but also building a stronger, more resilient healthcare future for generations to come.

A big thank you to the Zakat Foundation of America for making this possible.

Health is a basic human right. Yet, many people in The Gambia and across the world still struggle to access essential health services.

This year, on the 7th of April, the world marks World Health Day. A moment to pause and reflect honestly on both the progress made and the gaps that remain within our healthcare systems.

This day reminds us that the work is far from over. Our Governments, institutions, and communities, particularly in the Gambia, must continue to invest in the health and wellbeing of their people, strengthen healthcare systems, and ensure that quality and affordable care is accessible to everyone.

A healthier society is the foundation of a stronger and more prosperous future.

Let us commit to building a healthcare system that works for all , and not just a few.

We at the Sunu Reew Medical Mission stand united with the global community in commemorating World Autism Awareness Day 2026.

Under the theme “Autism and Humanity – Every Life Has Value,” we affirm our commitment to celebrating the dignity, worth, and potential of every autistic individual.

This day reminds us of the importance of building a society rooted in inclusion, acceptance, and meaningful support for people on the autism spectrum across The Gambia and World at large.

Autistic individuals are not defined by limitations, but by their humanity, talents, perspectives, and unique contributions to our communities. When we embrace neurodiversity, we create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

At Sunu Reew Medical Mission, we stand with families, advocates, and individuals on the autism spectrum in promoting awareness, understanding, and a more inclusive future for all.
