Youth strength groups are starting again. We are looking for 6 kids ages 10-16 years old. We understand that basketball and ski season are upon us so you guys will miss out however, there are plenty of kids that don't participate in those two sports that could greatly benefit from strength, conditioning, corrective exercises, and all the performance boosts that come from training. And it gets the kids off the devices. Sounds like a win win!!!! Classes will be Wednesday after school and Saturdays(time to be determined). If interested, please contact us asap as these slots get taken within the first day or two. Email me at 802fitnessandtherapy@gmail.com or call 802-464-7730.

😋Eat these sweet pancakes for a snack or breakfast.

Enjoy as-is or add a no-sugar-added jam on top. Yum!

3-Ingredient Paleo Pancakes 🍌
(serves 1)

1 large ripe banana
2 large eggs
1½ Tbsp coconut flour
Coconut oil (for frying)

Place the banana, eggs, coconut flour, and a dash of sea salt in a high-speed blender. Puree until smooth.

The batter will be thick but you should be able to pour it from the blender. If it seems thin, add a tiny amount of coconut flour.

Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt a small amount of coconut oil over the surface.

Pour in the batter. Shake the skillet to spread out the batter and let cook for 2-4 minutes. The bottom of the pancake should be golden and the edges firm. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side.

Remove the pancake from the skillet with a spatula.

Serve and enjoy — and let me know what you think in the comments! 👇

❓How do I get started?

✅Answer: If you’ve been thinking about getting fitter and/or healthier, figuring out where to start can feel overwhelming.

There is SO much info out there, how do you know what to believe?

The best way to start is to keep it simple.

If you’re going at it alone …

Just pick ONE THING and DO it.

Get regular exercise … start cutting sugar out of your diet … go to bed a little earlier (or get up a little earlier!) … or replace your afternoon vending snack with a piece of fruit … and the list goes on.

When you’ve been consistent with it for a few days or weeks, you can add on.

You don’t have to overcomplicate things. The basics — when you’re consistent with them — work!

And if you need help with a personalized, step-by-step plan to hit your goals, talk to Paul, Wyatt, or Lisa so we can help you knock your goals out of the park 💪

Our Story

Paul Croutworst began his passion for movement working in the outpatient field of physical therapy. While working in the physical therapy field, Paul molded himself into a corrective exercise specialist and highly specialized manual therapist. After years of practice, he became frustrated at one important piece of the puzzle regarding patient care. Patients would always be discharged from care when they were out of pain or insurance stopped paying. The problem was that the patient had SO MUCH more progress to make so they didn't have that yo-yo effect of coming back in of feeling good, then in pain again. Recognizing this problem, Paul decided to start personal training to bridge the gap from rehab to performance furthering his patients progressions so they were no longer dependent on us clinicians. Paul's goal was to make each person as bulletproof as possible. Paul likes to do a reset on most members cleaning up their movement pattern deficits, addressing the underlying root cause of their pain, then transition them to levels they never knew were possible, getting each person back to the things they love most.

Paul wanted to take his care to another level while transitioning to the field of fitness and came up with a new business model for the Deefield Valley to best serve each member. Until now, there was no fully functional fitness facility in the Deerfield Valley that encompasses the weight loss, fitness, health and nutritional needs of its members. Current facilities offer little in the way of personalized training or fitness classes and none have staff with diverse and professional backgrounds and expertise in fitness and therapy. With obesity on the rise across the country and here in VT, local and visiting residents are in need of a facility to assist in combating this epidemic and lead them on a path to wellness.
