Our Story

What We Offer Office-based medication-assisted treatment using SUBOXONE to help suppress withdrawal symptoms and decrease cravings, with counseling and psychosocial support. Dr. Albert may help you—or someone you care about—manage opioid dependence. Aaron Albert, MD FAPA Dr. Albert is a board certified psychiatrist and a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He received his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed a psychiatry residency at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. Dr. Albert is a general psychiatrist with a special interest in treating opioid addiction and has been prescribing suboxone since 2011. His other areas of practice include emergency psychiatry, correctional psychiatry, outpatient medication management, and telepsychiatry. Dr. Albert is currently accepting new patients for suboxone treatment only. However, Dr. Albert is not accepting New Medicaid Patients. To contact Dr. Albert for suboxone treatment in the Carolina Beach and Wilmington, NC area please complete our New Patient Information on our website.
