Come take part in a Mary’s Art Explorers in both English and Spanish! We will read Paletero Man / ¡Que Paletero tan Cool!, explore our exhibitions, and create artwork inspired by the artwork we see. We will also enjoy ice pops! Our book will be read in both English and Spanish, and a Spanish-speaking staff member will offer translation of the gallery exploration and art project instructions.

Art Explorers is geared towards infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, but big brothers and sisters are welcome to join and create art with us. Your registration includes admission to the museum for the whole day. Space is limited, so preregister to guarantee your spot!

It is with great honor that Cameron Art Museum pays tribute to Mary Cameron Hoey by naming its most popular and long-standing family program after her. Mary’s Art Explorers is a storytime, art making, and museum exploration program.

It can be frequently uncomfortable, often difficult, and sometimes just plain intimidating to engage with youth about issues like school shootings, dating violence, or racial injustice. It's probably not your standard dinner table conversation — but it's essential if we are going to help our children navigate big emotions and big questions.

Join us Tuesday, October 11 as Rosetta Eun Ryong Lee leads an interactive session discussions questions of how we both protect and guide youth as they face challenging or traumatic events and process complex yhoughts, feelings, and reactions.

The staff and kids at Coastal Kids Therapy are beyond excited to welcome, Gunner, our newest team addition! Gunner is a registered, rehabilitation facility dog and has already proven to be such an asset to our team. He provides motivation and anxiety reduction. He helps with social skills, communication, learning about kindness and gentleness, following directions, listening skills, and so much more.
