My boy. Never forgotten.

Each day at sunset, as part of the ODVS Ohio Taps Project, we pay tribute to an Ohioan who died while serving our country.

Tonight, we salute Army Spc. Steven D. Conover of Wilmington, who died on Nov. 11, 2003, in an attack on his CH-47 Chinook helicopter near Fallujah, Iraq.

Prototype all finished up. Left a little rough on purpose as I am going to put it through it’s paces. Integral carbon fiber liners and bolsters. 154cm blade and back spring. Antique Westinghouse micarta scales. It feels super light in the hand and pocket. If all works as it should for awhile, I will try it with a carbon fiber back spring ala David R. Davis.
