Hello All! We are looking for your help to honor local veterans traveling on their upcoming Honor Flight of the Cape Fear Area April 18th. For many veterans, "Mail Call" brings back powerful memories of receiving letters from home while deployed.

We invite you to write a handwritten note or draw a picture for a veteran. These small gestures of gratitude are deeply cherished. Please address envelopes to "Dear Veteran," "Honored Veteran," or "Hero".

Drop/Pickup Deadline is March 18th.

We are thrilled to announce Trusthouse Veterans is having their Gala Saturday March 21st from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Pour House. Tickets are $50 each. It is a semiformal evening dedicated to honoring veterans, sharing stories and raising critical funds for the Trusthouse Community.

Trusthouse Community will house 98 tiny homes. 8 will be hospice homes with 2 bedrooms having a hoyer lift in the ceiling. On site medical and supportive services as well. It will be a community in Brunswick County rooted in respect and connections.

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.

🤍 White shoulder-length hair
• Small frame

Mrs. Craig was last seen around 11:00 p.m. on March 1, 2026, and was heard leaving her residence around 10:30 p.m.

She may be driving a 1991 white Jeep Cherokee.

North Carolina license plate: RKM2050

She frequently travels in the Shallotte area.

Her dog, a blue tick hound named “Roxy,” may also be with her.

If you have seen Mrs. Craig, her vehicle, or have any information regarding her whereabouts, please contact the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office at 910-253-2777 or call 911 immediately.
