The mission of the Center for Pediatric Behavioral Health is to improve the lives of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral disorders in the Cape Fear and surrounding regions by:
• providing quality, empirically-supported treatment services
• developing and refining effective treatments through innovative clinical research
• disseminating effective treatment technologies through consultation
• offering quality training experiences

This past weekend, we were proud to host Autism Takes Flight at ILM—an experience that continues to inspire us year after year. ✈️

A heartfelt thank you to some of our incredible team members who volunteered their time to make this event possible. From helping families navigate the airport to sharing the excitement of viewing and boarding planes, your compassion and commitment created a supportive, welcoming space for every individual and family involved. Events like these create meaningful opportunities for individuals with autism and their families to build confidence and familiarity in a supportive environment—and we’re so grateful to be a part of it.

We’re honored to serve our community in such a meaningful way and look forward to continuing this important work.

❄️Due to road conditions and freezing temperatures, our centers will be closed for in-person services tomorrow, Monday, February 2nd to ensure the safety of our clients and staff. We will be providing telehealth services, as appropriate, across our specialized programs. Our providers will be contacting families to coordinate these services when appropriate. We will be monitoring our phones remotely, as possible, as well as info@centerforpbh.com. Stay warm and safe! 🌳⭐
