Independent Living residents at Brightmore soaked up the sunshine on a beautiful trip to Bald Head Island! ☀️ From a scenic ferry ride and golf cart adventure to a guided tour with the Old Baldy Foundation and a delicious lunch, it was a day filled with history, laughter, and seaside charm. 🌊⛴️🏝️

🌺🌴 September 7–13 was National Assisted Living Week, and The Kempton celebrated in true Hawaiian style! 🏖️ Residents and staff had a blast making volcanoes, designing their own bikinis, playing Aloha BINGO, and wrapping up the week with a fun bikini contest and festive luau complete with delicious treats and drinks. 🥥🍹 Mahalo to everyone who joined in — it was a truly spectacular week! 🌸

🎲✨ On Wednesday, our Ageless Adventure at The Commons whisked us away to glamorous Monaco! Residents began with an armchair travel tour, then spent the evening in Monte Carlo for a lively Casino Night. From roulette and blackjack to lotto games and a prize table full of goodies, everyone had a blast trying their luck and sharing in the excitement. 🃏💛

The Commons is celebrating Assisted Living Week with an ✨Ageless Adventure✨ — exploring our residents’ bucket list destinations! 🌍

✈️ On Monday, we stamped our passports and headed to Italy 🇮🇹 with Italian music movement, a virtual trip to Rome, delicious tiramisu, and a lively bingo game.

🦒 Day two took us on an African safari 🐘 where we dressed in animal prints, enjoyed an armchair safari, savored themed treats, and watched the cheetah win the big safari race!

🏈🎉 Spirit week was a touchdown at Brightmore of Wilmington! Our Independent Living residents showed off their favorite team gear, enjoyed a tasty happy hour with chicken wings and beers, played co****le, and wrapped it all up with an incredible pep rally from the UNCW cheerleaders! 💚💛
