Brady's Foundation

Brady's Foundation We are a collective group of people who are passionate about helping those struggling with substance abuse get their lives back on track.

Inspired by an unfortunate life-changing event and the substance abuse endemic we are facing, Brady’s Foundation was established to shine light on the significance of addiction awareness, to help the struggling recover, and to provide a safe space for families who are affected by addiction. We strive to become one of the most trusted and effective charitable foundations, working hard to improve the lives of those in need. Renee Marcou, Michael O'Connor, and Sylvia Fitzpatrick, alongside board members and hundreds of supporters, started the nonprofit organization in honor of their friend Tim Brady who lost his life at just 28 years old. It is the charity's goal to end the pain and loss caused by addiction and to help support families who have been and are currently affected by addiction. Brady's Foundation is scouting for passionate volunteers and positive change makers. We are also eager to collaborate with other charities and businesses who have similar missions. Please reach out and let's connect today! No one decides to become an addict. There are normally very complex and deeply personal reasons for falling prey to such a debilitating disorder. Brady's Foundation is raising money to open the doors of Mind Body Spirit Recovery and Wellness Center in our community. At our center, we will use our own unique program and practice in a safe and warm environment of mutual understanding. Our leaders are ready to encourage those who are excited to gain control of their life back, help reconcile with their past and empower each and every person to embrace the future.

This is more than just a center, it is a community to help those in need that also provides a safe space for families and friends affected. To learn more about our charity and lend a helping hand, please visit our website: www.BradysFoundation.com

Thank you to the anonymous donor on Facebook who supported our charity with a generous donation this year. We wholeheartedly appreciate your support and contribution to our mission. 💖

Since the pandemic, we have shifted our focus to serve and help people virtually. We still receive phone calls and messages from people looking for support not only with addiction but with mental health and wellness.

I will continue to hold the light for healing in all of our communities.

Blessings,

Renee Marcou

Our Story

Brady’s Foundation is a 501(c)3 in memory of the late Tim Brady of Wilmington, MA who lost his life to addiction at 28 years old. The foundation was founded by life long friends of Tim, Renee Marcou and Michael O’Connor. The duo started the charity to help their hometown and surrounding neighborhoods out of this country wide epidemic by bringing recovery awareness to their neighborhoods as well as preventing substance addictions through educating the youth and parents.

Brady’s Foundation collaborates with trusted treatment centers, wellness centers, and other organizations country wide who provide the best care for those who are seeking help. The foundation holds many awareness events throughout the year including a 5K Run for Recovery, Walk for Wellness in Wilmington, MA in June. At these awareness events, you will find resources for every one who is affected by addiction including but not limited to family support and treatment facilities.

Brady’s Foundation strives to become one of the most trusted and effective charitable foundations, working hard to improve the lives of those in need.

During the holiday season, Brady’s Foundation partners with Wonderland and the DCF to provide gifts for children who are in foster homes due to the loss of parents who have suffered from substance abuse. Renee Marcou, Michael O'Connor, and Sylvia Fitzpatrick are the board members of the foundation alongside hundreds of supporters and volunteers who energetically put effort forth to help those in need. It is the charity's goal to end the pain and loss caused by addiction and to help support families who have been affected by addiction. Brady's Foundation is scouting for passionate volunteers and positive change makers. We are also eager to collaborate with other charities and businesses who have similar missions.
