Anchor Psychological is an outpatient mental health counseling practice with locations in Hampstead and Wilmington, NC. We serve clients from age 3 and up for a variety of mental health disorders. Our therapists utilize an integrative therapy model to meet the needs of individual clients. We believe that trust, compassion and respect are essential for effective treatment. Through a collaborative approach, we strive to help clients achieve their goals and develop a deeper sense of meaning and satisfaction in their personal lives. We also offer Testing for; ADHD, Learning Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Giftedness, and Early Kindergarten Admission. We also conduct personality and diagnostic testing as part of consultative work with pediatricians and psychiatrists. Insurances accepted: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tricare, United, Aetna, Cigna, Medicare, Humana, Medcost, Magellan, Beacon, Multiplan, MOS, Champ Va, and Employee Assistance Programs.

Anchor Psychological & Counseling Services would like to welcome Cailin Holt to our team. Cailin is currently accepting new clients in our Hampstead and Wilmington location in addition to videohealth sessions.

Cailin Holt is a dually licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate and Clinical Addiction Specialist who earned her Master of Social Work from North Carolina State University. She has experience providing mental health and substance use treatment across inpatient, outpatient, and correctional settings, giving her a broad and practical perspective in her work with clients.

Cailin works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and substance use concerns, and she welcomes anyone who is seeking meaningful change in their life. She believes that growth happens outside of our comfort zones and understands how overwhelming it can feel to take the first step toward getting support.

Whether you are new to therapy or returning for continued growth, Cailin strives to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can work toward your personal goals. Her approach is person-centered and grounded in evidence-based practices, with a strong emphasis on meeting each client where they are. From processing past experiences to managing present-day stressors, she is committed to walking alongside you on your path toward healing and becoming your best self.
