Denise Sceare is highly dedicated to working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She has the right blend of vision and experience to provide support and help you tackle your issues collaboratively, with enthusiasm creativity, honesty, a sense of humor and commonsense. This process is valuable in helping to move forward in a positive direction for the health and well-being for

the person. Denise earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science degree in Social Science from the University of Maine at Presque Isle, and her Masters of Social Work at Grambling State University in Louisiana. She has worked as a Clinical Social Worker for 24 years and has worked in diverse settings. Denise owns and operates Coastal Care Counseling in Wilmington, NC specializing in marital and family therapy and working with high conflict custody issues, substance abuse, physical and sexual abuse of children and troubled teens. Denise is also certified in Clinical Hypnosis which is beneficial for some who may not respond to traditional therapies. Coastal Care Counseling serves children, teens, and adults in the Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach in New Hanover County as well as Pender, Brunswick, and Columbus Counties.
