Erin Fitzpatrick, LLC (doing business as Little Feet, Big Splash PT) is a small private practice that specializes in improving the independence and quality of life of children and young adults with special needs, intellectual or developmental disabilties. We aim to provide skilled physical therapy in the home and natural environments of our patients so that they can be be taught new skills in a f

amiliar area and continue to practice these skills each day for improved carry over and positive results. Our goal is to assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients who may live in under serviced areas in hopes of lightening the burden of travel on busy caregivers and parents.

What started as a dream has grown into something so special, and you’ve played such a big part in helping little ones take big steps every single day. I’m so proud of you, Maggie—you bring so much heart, passion, and energy into everything you do.

Would you believe me if I told you this sassy queen couldn’t bear any weight through her legs when I first met her? That sitting for 5 seconds made her tired? That she almost died of childhood cancer?

I almost don’t believe it when I see her. She is one of the most resilient (and hilarious) children I’ve ever met. It has been my honor to watch her grow strong 💪 both in physical strength and will power🤣. We finished our PT session today with “I’m done with Erin’s exercise- I don’t want to miss my friends birthday cake”.

What a beautiful day it is that she can speak her mind, tell me she’s OVER ME and kick my butt out! I’m so proud of you my mini sass monster!

Meet Lexi!

She is joining our team as our office manager. Lexi and Erin met each other many years ago when she worked as a direct support staff with individuals with developmental disabilities. Lexi recently relocated to the Wilmington area and we are so excited she is going to be a part of the team! Coming to us with loads of experience in healthcare administration and a heart of gold. We could not be happier to have her joining our team.

Wishing you all positive vibes for the new year! We are grateful for each and every family who trust us to serve their children.

2025 was a year of massive growth for our little feet team. We added five team members and we are covering more territory than ever before. We can’t wait to help more littles achieve their goals and live better and more independent lives.

I am proud of our growth but prouder of the amazing people on my team. Each and every one of my staff have brought something different and amazing to the table. It has brought me great joy watching them all create friendships within the team and to flourish professionally. I always thought it was pretty cheesy when corporations claimed their teams as “work family” but I’m happy to have been wrong- I consider these humans my second family.

Virtual round of applause for this team and all of our wonderful little feet families. Let’s do this 2026!
