The 6 Erotic Needs of The Erotic Self 🌿

You are already WHOLE. But you might be disconnected from your erotic wholeness.

The Erotic Self is built on 6 foundational needs. When these are met, you activate erotic presence, authentic consent, and radical self-permission.

1. EMBODIED SAFETY - Attune to your physical & emotional responses to create safety from within.

2. EROTIC PRESENCE - Stay in the moment by activating embodied safety & erotic mindfulness.

3. RADICAL SELF-PERMISSION - Ask for what you desire without shame, guilt, or emotional labor.

4. EROTIC EXPRESSION - Safely express your erotic self through movement, voice, play, art, or stillness.

5. INTIMATE CONNECTIONS - Connect with yourself & others erotically—energetically, spiritually, s*xually.

6. EROTIC EXPANSION - Grow & transform in having, sustaining, & evolving your erotic needs.

This is the framework we use in Authentic Consent Certification, SHIFT Intensive, & Erotic Intelligence Coaching.

Which one resonates most for you right now?

Centering q***r and q***r-affirming Black women and Black non-binary folks, Black ancestral wisdom shapes every healing circle I will curate.

What does it mean to reclaim healing, pleasure, and power in community that challenges the politics of anti-Blackness ?

These roots run deeper than any single story.

At The Erospirituality Centre, I honor Black, q***r, and ancestral indigenous traditions of Black folks and those healing arts of the Global Majority.

If you’re seeking embodied, culturally grounded healing for yourself or your clients, you are welcome.

On-Site Local Workshop (Wilmington, DE)

Ready to add a little playfulness to your erotic energy?

This year, I am offering workshops and retreats in addition to a Healing the Erotic Self Masterclass, which blends q***r and trans-affirming erotic education, and energy work, with somatic and erosomatic practices.

This is designed to provide a sacred bridge between your s*xuality, your spirituality, and your lovership.

You will move beyond theory and into embodied practice.

As always, my healing work centers q***r and non-q***r Black women and Black non-binary folks and is supportive of women and Enby folks of the Global Majority and our allies.

In 2017, I curated and hosted my first one-day s*xual healing retreat, Womynism Sacred Circle.

This year, I am selectively moving back into curating this type of sacred space where we honor our s*xuality, spirituality, and intuitive mind-body relationship. This will happen with not only my retreat but erotic healing workshops centering Black q***r women & non-binary folks, Erotic Alchemy.

My first erotic healing workshop will be on Sunday, 2/8 at 11am EST, in Wilmington at La Bella Chateau (formerly The Catch). It's easily accessible for 495 and has free private parking.

Sib- grab a friend and let's reclaim our loverships:

This erotic healing session is the sacred bridge between your s*xuality, your spirituality, and your intuitive mind-body relationship.

Healing is possible. Even here, even now.

What does our relationships look like to reclaim joy after relationship trauma?

How do we find safety in our bodies and each other?

Find healing not just for yourself, but for the relationships you are in.

Curious about what integrative, decolonial erotic healing could mean for you or your practice?

Journaling is an integration practice.

It helps you synthesize what you are learning, it helps you create affirming insights to who you are and who you are becoming.

Get it out of your head and on to paper.

Most of us rush through our mornings and our day and our evenings and night routines (if we stick to them-that is).

The demands of capitalism and the "American Dream"- marketing and branding message of success and exceptionalism intentionally hijack our intentions.

We forget that our bodies carry wisdom, longing, and memory that we are more than our labor.

Try this to disrupt the rush of capitalism:
1. Before you get up tomorrow, place your hand over your heart.

2. Breathe in for four counts, out for six.

3. Ask yourself: What does my body want to feel today?

4. Write down whatever comes, no matter how small or wild.

This is eros in practice—making space for your spirit and pleasure, even on a plain Monday.

You don’t need a ritual altar or a perfect mood.
You are the altar.
Any mood you have is a mood to honor.

What you need is:
Just a notebook, your breath, and the courage to listen.

Curious what else is possible?

Last year was the year I returned to creating sacred spaces similar to Womynism Sacred Circle.

What started in 2016 has evolved into something very beautiful, very liberating, very spiritual, and very erotic.

What if healing could feel like this?

Imagine the gentle rhythm of waves matching your breath, the sun warming your skin, and each step on the sand reminding you that your body is sacred. This is what erosomatic practice can look like—simple, daily moments where pleasure and presence meet.

You don’t have to be on a beach to begin. Try this: place your hand on your heart, close your eyes, and take three slow breaths. Notice what sensations, images, or emotions arise. Let your body’s wisdom speak, even if it’s just a whisper.

This is how we start to reclaim our erotic intelligence—by honoring the everyday sacred.

Catch my IG Live (*xologist) on Erotic Lessons next Wednesday 1/14

My question was:
What if healing began with pleasure first?

Most of us were taught to disconnect from our bodies. To silence desire. But what if your deepest wisdom lives in the places you were told to hide?

Decolonial erotic healing is about reclaiming pleasure as sacred. Rooted in Black q***r and indigenous traditions, this work honors every part of you—body, spirit, story.

Curious how this looks in practice? Or how it transforms professional healing?

Our Story

What is Womynism? Womynism is the reclamation and celebration of the s*xuality & gender diversity among Black, Indigenous, and of Color womyn and femmes (BIWFOC). Womynism is a s*xological worldview inspired by Alice Walker's "womanist" and Black feminist theory of understanding the social location of race AND gender as described by Patricia Hill Collins of Black womyn & femmes, identity politics as defined by The Combahee River Collective, the deconstruction of oppression as illustrated by Kimberle Crenshaw's Theory of Intersectionality, and informed by Audre Lorde's emotional insight. The "y" denotes the rejection of socially constructed ideas of gender and the politics of s*xual respectability. The "y" denotes the rejection of the socially constructed ideology of s*xuality and gender and the politics of s*xual responsibility while embracing and celebrating the right to autonomy the Black, Indigenous, and of color womyn and femmes has over their own body. The “y” is symbolic of the necessity to honor how BIWFOC, transgender or cisgender, q***r or not, s*xual or as*xual, fully show up as their authentic selves. Womynism is s*x-positive, intersectional, in addition to, q***r, disable, trans*, and s*x workers inclusive and affirming worldview. Womynism is: I.
