Last year was the year I returned to creating sacred spaces similar to Womynism Sacred Circle.

What started in 2016 has evolved into something very beautiful, very liberating, very spiritual, and very erotic.

What if healing could feel like this?

Imagine the gentle rhythm of waves matching your breath, the sun warming your skin, and each step on the sand reminding you that your body is sacred. This is what erosomatic practice can look like—simple, daily moments where pleasure and presence meet.

You don’t have to be on a beach to begin. Try this: place your hand on your heart, close your eyes, and take three slow breaths. Notice what sensations, images, or emotions arise. Let your body’s wisdom speak, even if it’s just a whisper.

This is how we start to reclaim our erotic intelligence—by honoring the everyday sacred.

Catch my IG Live (*xologist) on Erotic Lessons next Wednesday 1/14

My question was:
What if healing began with pleasure first?

Most of us were taught to disconnect from our bodies. To silence desire. But what if your deepest wisdom lives in the places you were told to hide?

Decolonial erotic healing is about reclaiming pleasure as sacred. Rooted in Black q***r and indigenous traditions, this work honors every part of you—body, spirit, story.

Curious how this looks in practice? Or how it transforms professional healing?

Visit Erospirituality.com to explore the 2026 healing intensives.

The 2026 Healing the Erotic Self (Spring 2026) & S*xuality & Somatics Learning Intensives (Summer 2026) are now open for enrollment.

What does embodied erotic healing feel like?

Most folks think it's just about pleasure. But true healing runs deeper—especially for Black, q***r, and marginalized bodies longing for wholeness.

At The Erospirituality Centre, I honor 8 channels of our erotic embodiment, The Erotic Self: Body. Behavior. Erotic Energy. Desirability Politics. Sensual Pleasure. Consent. Positive Affect. Relational Self.

Each one is a portal to reclaiming your erotic birthright—rooted in decolonial, Black q***r, and indigenous wisdom.

Curious how these channels show up in your healing or your practice as a professional? I invite you to pause, breathe, and let yourself feel into which channel is calling you today.

I am a big believer that you can't teach what you don't embody.

What does embodied healing mean to you?

For many of us, 'healing' has felt like a lonely, confusing road. Especially when your body, history, or desire doesn't fit the mold.

But what if healing could be communal, rooted in culture, and full of real connection?

This week, I'm reopening Erotic Lessons as a live Q&A on IG- Wednesday 1/15 and TikTok on Friday 1/16.

Bring your questions, your curiousity, and your truth.

Let’s talk about erotic healing, somatic wisdom, and what it means to reclaim pleasure—on your own terms.

Curious? Nervous? All of you is welcome here.

Drop a 💜 if you want in, or just show up and listen. Your voice matters.

See you in the lessons.

What if your healing included your pleasure?

Most of us were taught to separate our bodies, our desire, and our spirit. But what if your erotic self is the missing link in your healing?

Here’s a practice I share with my clients: Each morning, pause and place your hand over your heart (or anywhere that feels safe). Breathe in for four counts. Exhale for six. As you breathe, ask yourself: What does my body crave today? What does my spirit need?

You might be surprised by what comes up. This is how we start to reclaim erotic intelligence—by listening, honoring, and making space for our full selves.

Ready to go deeper?

Start with the erotic self-study course, Erotic Living or check the link in comments for more ways to integrate erospirituality in your work-personally & professionally.

You and space your create are worthy of pleasure and healing. ✨

Healing isn’t meant to be a solo journey.

When we gather—laughing, crying, learning together—something shifts. These are the moments our clients talk about most. The quiet trust that builds between survivors, the spark of recognition when a healing professional finds tools that finally honor their own story, the joy of witnessing each other’s wholeness.

At The Erospirituality Centre, our community is built on decolonial, Black q***r wisdom. We honor every body, every voice, every path. The stories that fill our circles aren’t just about surviving. They’re about reclaiming pleasure, dignity, and embodied power—together.

Curious how this work could serve you or your clients? Message me for a free intro consultation. Let’s talk about what’s possible. ✨

South Sudanese-American model Anok Yai delivered an emotional message as she accepted the Model of the Year award at the 2025 British Fashion Awards, telling “little Black girls” that their “colour is not a curse” and calling for peace in her home country of South Sudan.

The ceremony at London’s Royal Albert Hall recognised leading figures across the industry, but Yai’s win was among the night’s standout moments.

At 27, she has become one of fashion’s most influential models, with major campaigns, covers and runway appearances to her name.

“To all my little Black girls who are watching me right now - your colour is not a curse. You are not a trend, you are not unfortunate. You are worthy, you are capable and you are more powerful than you can imagine,” she said in her acceptance speech.

Yai’s rise began in 2017 when a photo of her at a Howard University homecoming event went viral, helping launch her into the global spotlight.

Our Story

What is Womynism? Womynism is the reclamation and celebration of the s*xuality & gender diversity among Black, Indigenous, and of Color womyn and femmes (BIWFOC). Womynism is a s*xological worldview inspired by Alice Walker's "womanist" and Black feminist theory of understanding the social location of race AND gender as described by Patricia Hill Collins of Black womyn & femmes, identity politics as defined by The Combahee River Collective, the deconstruction of oppression as illustrated by Kimberle Crenshaw's Theory of Intersectionality, and informed by Audre Lorde's emotional insight. The "y" denotes the rejection of socially constructed ideas of gender and the politics of s*xual respectability. The "y" denotes the rejection of the socially constructed ideology of s*xuality and gender and the politics of s*xual responsibility while embracing and celebrating the right to autonomy the Black, Indigenous, and of color womyn and femmes has over their own body. The “y” is symbolic of the necessity to honor how BIWFOC, transgender or cisgender, q***r or not, s*xual or as*xual, fully show up as their authentic selves. The Circle centers the intersectional narrative of BIWFOC and the reclamation or reframing of their narrative through the unlearning of s*x-negative, oppressive and disempowering messages regarding s*xuality, s*xual pleasure, intimacy, attraction, personhood, power, gender expression and gender performance.
