Though we are known for our prenatal care, we are committed to the lifelong health of our patients and provide preventive healthcare, family planning, and annual exams for women of all ages. Our Certified Nurse Midwives have the only all-female provider practice in the Wilmington, NC region. We are in the office five days a week and same day appointments are available.

This year is the 25th anniversary of our midwifery practice being open. We were able to meet up with one of the founding midwives, Mary Slawter, for this article. Thanks to her, and to one of our lovely families, for sharing their experiences with midwifery.
