Be stronger than the sport you play

"Coach, why do I keep getting injured? I stretch, I rest, but something always hurts."

The coach looked at the runner and asked, "What do you do when you are not running?"

The runner frowned. "What do you mean?"

"Are you strength training? Are you working on mobility? Running is not just about running.

It is about building a body that can handle running. If your core is weak, if your hips are tight, if your glutes are not strong enough your body will compensate. And compensation leads to injury."

Jon returned from an amazing trip to Croatia this past week as he delivered medical services to Team USA at both World Championship Tournaments for Beach Wrestling & Veterans Wrestling. The Veterans Tournament had more than 50 USA athletes representing Team USA who competed against more than 660 athletes from 50 countries.
Team USA Veterans also won team gold for the Freestyle and bronze for the Greco Roman divisions.

We have moved! Our new location is just a mile to the North, located at the corner of Market Street and Gordon Rd. We now have the huge standalone building between O'Reilly Auto Parts and Waffle House, which is the same building that used to be the home of 828 Church. We have done extensive work to make the building really come alive, and so far everyone is blown away. We sure are!

Feel free to stop by and have a look for yourself! We are also excited to have Peak Athletics and King Chiropractic with us as tenants in our new building. There will be lots of synergies between the businesses, and we are looking forward to continuing to build a new movement of health and fitness here in Wilmington.
