• One presentation right before you graduate (on a disease, possibly)
➢ Must complete presentation for a cord

• Work with library for book sales for an event
• Blood Drives as an event
• Diversity in pt. populations (community services)

• Monday 3:30 (Multipurpose Room)
• Wednesday 2:30 (Multipurpose Room)

Point System

• Foodbank 5 points
• Blood Drive 2 points/hour
• Library book sale 2 points/hour
• Meetings 1 point
• Presentation 10 points
• T-shirts 2 points (twice a month)
• “Like” us on Facebook 1 points (twice a month)

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have two meetings left this semester.

The first will be this Thursday, November 20th at noon in room 1030 and the last will be on December 1st at 11:30 am in the multipurpose room.

Happy Monday!

ADSN has decided that we would love to have an additional officer to help plan events! This position would be responsible for communicating with contact persons to plan events, help to plan and organize the event, and help to delegate event chairs. If you are interested in this position please email Anna Whetzel (anw2659@uncw.edu) back with your name, graduating class, and a few sentences about why you would be good for this position. These will be read at Monday’s and Thursday’s meetings and then a surveymonkey will be posted on Facebook to vote for the candidate you want :)

Hello all! Our meetings this semester will be Monday mornings at 11 am or Thursday at 12 pm. You are welcome to attend either meeting, just choose what works for you. Our first meeting will be on Monday September 8th at 11 am, hope to see you there!

We will be having our first community service event for United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) on February 22nd at 9 a.m. Our goal is to paint three classroom walls in cool, neutral colors and possibly donate an abstract mural or painting for a wall of the hallway.

We need all the help we can get painting!! Fortunately, UCP has a lot of painting equipment (brushes, rollers, tins, and tape) but donations and "bring-your-own" supplies are greatly appreciated.

Let's give back together to a great cause within the Wilmington community. Coming together with multiple groups and organization will exemplify a wonderful image of how diverse and committed UNCW students really are!

It's official! The Association of Diversity in Student Nursing has been approved as a UNCW organization. We are very excited and welcome any interested members who wish to learn more about diversity in the healthcare profession and wish to contribute to the Wilmington community.
