UNCW's School of Nursing provides numerous, exciting opportunities to enter the dynamic profession of nursing or to begin a career in clinical research. The School of Nursing has been in existence since the early 1960s and offers both baccalaureate and master's degrees in nursing and clinical research. In July 2010, the School of Nursing moved into the newly constructed McNeill Hall. The School of Nursing faculty have been supporting older adults in our community by offering fresh produce. Recent donations have supported five food distributions across four low-income senior communities—Glover Plaza, Solomon Towers, Creekwood South, and Robert Taylor Senior. The final distribution provided fresh produce for Robert Taylor residents. Thank you to all donors and to Meki Graham & daughter, Sue Glose, Jeeyah Choi, Jason Gatt, Michelle McEwen-Campbell, Robin Cunningham, and Anne-Marie Goff for delivering!

Reyes who will will share an in-depth look at today’s HIV epidemiology and the latest advances in prevention and treatment, including long-acting therapies, PrEP, and U=U education. She’ll also explore the persistent disparities shaped by structural and social drivers of health, and highlight how nurses, educators, and community partnerships play vital roles in creating more equitable, person-centered care.
