Sit, stand, or lie down comfortably. Take note of 5 things you can see. Notice details as you look around you. What are 4 things you can touch? Focus on textures and sensations. Notice 3 things you can hear. Tune into nearby sounds. Find 2 things that you can smell. Finally, what is one thing you can taste? Being mindful of your surroundings brings you back to the present moment.
