Happy Black Doula Day! 🎉 Today is a powerful celebration of Black doulas and their invaluable contributions to birthwork, maternal health, and community care. This day, founded by Okunsola M. Amadou in 2022, is recognized every **April 11th** to honor the legacy and impact of Black doulas

The theme for **Black Doula Day 2025** is *”The Future is Ancestral: Reclaiming Black Birth & Postpartum Wisdom,”* emphasizing the importance of ancestral knowledge in shaping holistic, community-driven care. Our Soul Wellness Doulas continue to walk in their purpose serving birthing persons in our communities.
